Olga Konykhov, M.D., a board-certified ophthalmologist, has been practicing Ophthalmology and Eye Surgery in Connecticut for over 12 years. She specializes in small incision and complex cataract surgery with premium refractive technology, laser vision correction (LASIK), and corneal disease. Her subspecialty Cornea surgical experience includes various types of corneal transplants, collagen crosslinking, ocular surface reconstruction and various other corneal procedures.

Dr. Konykhov graduated with honors (summa cum laude) from St. John’s University. After receiving her medical degree from SUNY Downstate Medical School, she completed her ophthalmology residency training at New York Medical College. She also completed a post-doctoral fellowship in Cornea, Anterior Segment, and Refractive Surgery at the prestigious Pepose Vision Institute in St. Louis, Missouri.

Dr. Konykhov is an experienced and accomplished surgeon, having performed thousands of intraocular procedures. When in the office, she treats a multitude of eye problems including severe infections, corneal dystrophies, dry eye syndrome and trauma. She has been honored with a Top Doctor award every consecutive year since 2012.

She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Society of Cataracts and Refractive Surgeons.

Dr. Konykhov, who speaks fluent Russian, resides in the area with her family.
